The model id is a Bedrock-style string (<provider>.<model>-<version>). Models discovered dynamically via Bedrock's listing endpoint.
Streaming
Streamed turns call Bedrock's ConverseStream and deliver text, reasoning, and tool calls incrementally. The IAM identity behind the credential needs bedrock:InvokeModelWithResponseStream in addition to bedrock:InvokeModel. Without it, streamed turns fail with FORBIDDEN while unary turns still succeed.
A failure Bedrock reports after the stream has opened (throttling, validation, a model stream error) ends the turn with the matching platform error code, for example RATE_LIMITED for throttlingException. The partial answer is never returned as complete.
