Note

Annotate the canvas with plain text or Markdown that never executes

The Note block is a sticky note for the canvas. It documents decisions, leaves instructions for collaborators, or explains a tricky branch, and it takes no part in execution: a note has no inputs, no outputs, and no connections.

Configuration

  • Display FormatPlain text renders the content verbatim; Markdown renders headings, lists, links, code and quotes.
  • Content — the text of the note.

Resizing a note

Select a note and drag any edge or corner to resize it. The size is saved with the workflow and shown to everyone editing it, and undo restores the previous size.

  • A note cannot be dragged smaller than 200 × 100 px; there is no upper bound.
  • Content that no longer fits scrolls inside the note instead of spilling over the canvas.
  • A note you never resized keeps its default 250 px width.

Resizing needs workspace edit access. Read-only viewers, and editors whose realtime connection has dropped, see the note at its saved size without handles.
